The web version is playable, but for the best experience, please download the native version of the game if possible.

Desktop users downloading the game through itch.io in their browser can simply extract the zip archive and run the executable named spacerace. When installed through the itch.io app, the desktop version (Windows & Linux) of the game makes use of the itch.io Sandbox to encourage security. The itch.io app may prompt for administrator access/password to create a sandbox before the game is run. View the itch.io documentation on why that is needed.
